Tempest is a tropical merhorse, he represents everything that is
exotic and unpredictable, a sudden summer shower, the golden sand of some far away beach or a wind storm. This
type of merhorse is known to live in tropical waters
around the globe.
Tempest is a One of a Kind sculpture/artdoll created entirely by
hand without the use of molds, he is an original piece, therefore
unique and impossible to reproduce.
He has been modelled from Polymer Clay over a wire armature. His
eyes are hand sculpted and painted. His body is painted with a series of acrylic paint color
washes to add depth and realism. He is about 6 inches tall and 9 and a half inches long (from the tip of his hooves to his tail fin).
Tempest's mane is kid platinum mohair applied lock by
lock, his tail has hundreds of clear iridescent sequins applied one by one.
