THE HIPPOI OF THE TEMPESTUOUS WATERS



Storm is 7 1/2 inches tall to the tip of his ears, standing on his base the whole piece is 9 inches tall, circular beach display is 7 inches across.

He has been sculpted with polymer clay on a wire armature, completly by hand and without the use of molds, he's a true Original One of a Kind that will never be duplicated.

His coat is jet black with a white marking on his head fading to flesh pink towards his muzzle. His eyes have been carefully detailed like a real horse's eyes, white, pink and a brown iris with a black pupil. His hooves have been painted in many shades of grey for depth and realism.

His tail is silver, blue and violet, the fins are a pink/purple color with hints of blue and iridescent greens and golds and tiny deep lavender sparkles, very striking in person.

His mane has been meticulously done combining different colors of mohair, blonde and silver in the front fading to salt and pepper grey and almost black near his dorsal fin, then styled to achieve that "wind blown" look. The hair is very silky and lustrous and looks extremely natural.

The base is stained in a dark rich ebony brown and decorated with real, super fine white sand (sterilized, so no strange things will grown on it), "seagrass" and a group of tiny seashells that I collected myself at the beach this weekend =) (except for the starfish). The bottom of the base is covered in black felt to protect fine furnishings. Storm can be removed from his base.

I will issue and send a Certificate of Authenticity upon request only.
